The SharePoint Trainer role offers a salary of £37,099 - £44,263 (depending on experience) and has a hybrid-working pattern, with two days per week working on-campus in Edinburgh. We are ideally looking for full time hours (35hrs per week) but are committed to offering flexibility and would be happy to consider flexible working arrangements, such as compressed hours or longer breaks in the working day.

What the job involves:

  • Working with a diverse group of stakeholders across a large, complex organisation.
  • Providing University staff and students with SharePoint training and learning resources to support their work, research, study and employability. 
  • Working alongside the Digital Skills and SharePoint teams to analyse SharePoint and Microsoft 365 training needs. 
  • Developing, delivering and evaluating learning solutions to meet the needs of staff and students.

Your Skills and Attributes for Success:

  • Significant and demonstrable experience of SharePoint Online configuration.
  • Experience of creating digital skills training events and/or development programmes.
  • Experience of delivering live training sessions, both in-person and online.
  • Knowledge of how to create accessible learning materials using a variety of media.
  • Exceptional digital skills with ability to quickly acquire new technical information and practices.
