The position is FULL TIME and OPEN-ENDED.

Salary will be on Management & Specialist, Grade 7 £45,585 to £54,395 per annum, at a starting salary to be confirmed on offer of appointment. In addition, this role attracts a market supplement up to £5,439 per annum.

A market supplement could be available for the preferred candidate based on their experience to ensure we can make an offer that aligns with the market rate for the role.

The role is focused on providing leadership for Unified Communications team and services within the wider IT Platforms section. Working together with the Head of IT Platforms and with senior stakeholders across the University, the post holder will support the development of mutually negotiated service roadmaps, act as an advocate for the change in technology use, and ensure services deliver value for all customers.

To be able to undertake this role you will:

  • have experience of team and service management within a large organisation;
  • have a good working knowledge of email, collaborative tools or telephony
  • be ready to engage with new systems/services and want to develop your professional skills.
  • have experience with Microsoft 365 based services.
