We have an exciting opportunity to work as an administrator providing support on a world leading research project within the Rehabilitation and Assistive Technologies (RAT) Group that sits within the Health Services Research section of the Division of Population Health in the School of Medicine and Population Health.
You will act as point of contact dealing with enquiries from within the University, funding bodies, NHS organisations and other academic institutions. You will also provide general administrative support, budgetary monitoring, and project support.
You will have excellent IT, communication and organisational skills, and experience of working in a an academic/research environment.
The COMSTAR project funded by the National Institute for Health Research will begin on 1st March 2024. It is a 3 year project involving the co-design and evaluation of a novel national training program to enable stroke specialist health professionals to communicate effectively with stroke survivors who experience communication difficulties. The project is led by the University of Sheffield and co-led by City University with 8 other partner universities and NHS trusts.
