We have an exciting opportunity for a key management position in a newly formed team of student operations and course administrators.
As Course Administration & Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the Director and Head of Section through the early stages of a significant change management project, working with the directorate’s senior management team to develop strategy and set KPIs.
The University is undergoing a transformational change project which sees the convergence of teams formerly based in academic schools and central services. This will be a challenging role and a great opportunity to help to define and develop a new approach across a wide range of registry services and academic administration.
You will have overall responsibility for delivering course administration from enrolment to award, exam arrangements and logistics, graduation ceremonies, certificates and verifications.
Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience, you will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with experience of managing people, processes and change. You will take a collaborative and inclusive approach to building relationships with colleagues across the institution, responding to students’ needs with empathy and fairness, and supporting academic colleagues to maintain regulatory compliance. You will also have considerable experience of mapping and improving processes for greater efficiency and enhanced customer experience.
