Location: De Havilland Campus

The Student Administration Service at the University of Hertfordshire is looking for a part time Senior data and compliance administrator to work in the ITE (Initial Teacher Education) Compliance team based at our de Havilland campus.  

Main duties and responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a key role during and in the preparations for Ofsted inspections. An essential part of this will involve developing and maintaining accurate, reliable, and comprehensive systems to track student progress and achievement. There will be significant responsibility for planning the priorities and tasks for the team in the event of an inspection.

Data will need to be collected and tracked from different sources such as internal surveys and national datasets to provide analysis and identify trends.

Skills and experience required

You will need an expert level of competency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and have experience working with a wide range of databases. You will be able to produce detailed work and reports finished to a high standard. In addition, you will have proven administrative experience in a busy environment. You will need to be proactive and able to work in a team or on your own initiative so excellent time management and organisational skills are also key.

Qualifications required

A minimum undergraduate (or equivalent) level qualification or relevant administrative experience is essential for this post.

Additional information

The postholder will be expected to be flexible with their hours, especially in the weeks before and during an Ofsted inspection. Time in lieu will be given for any extra hours worked.
