The IT Endpoint Support Officer will join the newly-formed Endpoint Services Team, which has overall responsibility for the purchasing, management and support of the School’s end user devices and software. The role involves providing 1st and 2nd line IT technical support to both staff and students across the School’s central London sites. This will primarily be based on site, with some options for hybrid working.
You will mostly be working with Windows devices but should also be able to support Mac and Android devices. You will need to support the Microsoft 365 suite of applications and other sector specific software. We follow ITIL structures to log and carry out support tasks including office and user visits.
Experience with Azure Active Directory is desirable, in addition to good communication skills both written and spoken.
The post is full time and permanent.
The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale Grade 5 in the range £36,438 - £41,829 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
