We are currently seeking an efficient and organised administrator to join us as a Group Coordinator to provide consistent and high-quality administrative and clerical support within our Group admin team to members of faculty within our academic groups, and to internal and external stakeholders.

You will have experience of delivering excellent customer service through effective team working and be able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a matrix organisational context. Evidence of well-developed administration skills, preferably in an HE environment, and a high level of IT literacy will be required, as will the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and with attention to detail. You will be at ease working in a changing environment, being able to demonstrate flexibility to be involved in a number of operational support activities at any given time. You will have an ability to effectively take action to support a range of processes, to act on their own initiative, and to handle sensitive matters with discretion and tact.

In addition to supporting a broad range of areas, you’ll lead on processes and events that support recruitment of new members of faculty. This requires strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with an ability to make candidates feel at ease throughout the process, from initial shortlisting through to supporting them with HR and IT requirements prior to joining WBS. You’ll be part of the wider group admin team of colleagues and develop close working relationships with colleagues across the School to deliver an excellent service for all.

Alongside a competitive salary, we also offer a wide range of benefits which include an attractive pension scheme, 26 days holiday plus Christmas closure, some fantastic savings on a wide range of products and services, and excellent learning and development opportunities. At WBS we are committed to supporting staff to achieve their potential.
