About the Role
The Change Delivery team play a key part in the delivery of the University’s 2030 strategy by working closely with other parts of IT Service, Professional Service directorates and Faculties to identify operational requirements, plan, prioritise and deliver IT digital infrastructure solutions for staff and students.
This role will create a testing strategy, principle and policy across plan, build and run IT Service lifecycle for new and existing solutions.
About You
As an experienced Test Manager you will guide and mentor test teams to drive continuous learning and improvements. You will bring industry best practice in testing to contribute to team efficiency and product quality.
As a Test Manager you’ll be working within cross-functional team of designers, developers and testers, delivering across the entire project and product life cycle, from concept/design/build/deploy/test, right through to release and support.
You will be required to use considerable functional, non-functional and automated test tooling knowledge and skills to provide options, and reasoned recommendations.
This role will initially report to the Assistant Director, Change Delivery and as the practice matures the proposal is for the reporting line management to be transferred to Head of Project Management Office.

The post is based at Department W, Whitechapel, London. It is full time, permanent appointment. The starting salary will be Grade 6, in the range of £51,048 - £56,921 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
