Loughborough University’s outstanding academic student experience is underpinned by high-quality student-facing services together with excellent processes, systems and data, delivered through a collaborative partnership between Academic Registry and Schools. This is why we are looking for an exceptional individual to lead our student statutory returns and management of data underpinning the student academic life cycle, and to undertake business change and process improvement activity.

Are you a proactive and organised team-player, with an interest in the continuous improvement of services? Do your strong analytical skills and eye for detail set you apart from your counterparts? Do you enjoy using your excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills to get the best outcome for a range of stakeholders, whilst managing and prioritising a varied workload?

If you have answered yes to all these questions, you are exactly who we are looking for and we can’t wait to read your application.

At Loughborough University we are committed to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and making the University a place where both students and staff feel valued and are able to realise their full potential. An appreciation of the importance of and a commitment to EDI is therefore essential.

This is a varied role which offers the opportunity to focus on student data through leadership of statutory returns, data quality, and provision and analysis of live data. At the same time, you will develop expertise in other areas, including staff management and broader aspects of student and programme administration through a variety of project activity across the institution.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to further their career in higher education administration leadership and management, process change and business improvement.

The role provides a fantastic opportunity to build on the local success of the first year of Data Futures, including transitioning the institution to in-year returns. Your critical role as a data specialist and change-enabler will have a major positive impact on large numbers of students and staff.

We encourage you to join our collaborative and supportive team environment, where you can develop and contribute to the University’s diverse student activity.

Academic Registry make a vital contribution to the University’s continued success in the National Student Survey and the University is ranked in the top 10 of all major national league tables. We offer flexible working to colleagues where possible and understand the importance of a good work/life balance. The post will be mostly based on campus, but with some opportunities for home working, as business needs allow, in line with the University’s dynamic working arrangements. In addition to working for an employer of choice on our stunning East Midlands campus, we offer an excellent range of benefits to our employees and pride ourselves on being family friendly.
