This is an exciting opportunity to join the Human Resources team in the Social Sciences Divisional Office and gain experience and knowledge in delivering HR and administrative support for a wide range of staff.
The Divisional HR Assistant will support the delivery of an efficient and effective HR service for divisional office staff as well as the Heads of Administration from the Division’s 15 departments.
You will play a critical role in providing a high-quality generalist HR service across the employee life-cycle. You'll be integral in supporting the recruitment process, new starter and leaver process, the Division’s Recruitment Protocol and various divisional schemes.
The Divisional HR Assistant will be part of a supportive and collaborative team and work closely with a range of stakeholders including colleagues in departments, the divisional office and the wider University.
About you
You will be a team player with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for thoroughness and working systematically with processes. The ideal candidate will also have a working knowledge of HR processes paired with professional administrative experience in a fast-paced environment. Strong numeracy skills, and experience of working with databases or HR systems, will also be assets.

Hybrid working arrangements will be considered in consultation with the line manager, but with the expectation of working two days per week based in the Divisional Office.
