Getting the right applicants enrolled onto the right courses is key to all activities undertaken by Student Recruitment and Marketing and this role is vital in achieving this as being knowledgeable about your courses and processing decisions in a timely manner is crucial in a competitive marketplace.
Alongside reviewing applications in line with our published course entry criteria and selection processes you will also be involved in Occupational Health (OH) and Criminal Convictions (DBS) checks, Confirmation of Acceptances for Studies checks, you will have the opportunity to represent the university at Open Days and UCAS Fairs, and you will act as a link and source of information for other professional services.
The Admissions roles will sit within the Recruitment and Admissions department, as part of the wider Student Recruitment and Marketing service.
We are looking for someone with strong customer service and data entry skills, excellent attention to detail with an enthusiastic commitment to enhancing the applicant experience. You should also possess excellent and proactive organisation skills.
We make use of a number of IT systems such as Microsoft Office, SITS (admissions database) and a number of external databases, so being comfortable with IT systems and being able to pick up new technologies is essential.

This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus.
We offer a wide range of employee benefits.
We particularly encourage applications from global majority candidates as we are currently under-represented in this area of the organisation, however all appointments are made strictly on individual merit.
As a Disability Confident employer, we welcome applications from those who identify as having a disability.

We have 2 roles available, one is permanent and the other is fixed term for 12 months (or the earlier return of the post holder). Both roles are full time working 37 hours per week.
These posts are available on a job share basis.
This role is campus based for at least 40 percent of your time, with the opportunity to work from home on the remaining days.
To ensure fairness and equity all salary offers will be made in line with the University's salary assessment guidelines and will be based on your relevant skills and experience.
