We are currently seeking a confident and proactive Project Officer (for PVC-Education). This is a new role created to help support a period of transition for the University. The expectation is that as the role develops it will involve working across, contributing to and managing several strategic projects.
The primary focus will be on Education, supporting the PVC-Education and other senior colleagues with the creation of a single strategy for Education that:
To support the PVC-Education and others in the Senior Management Team, by contributing to the analysis, development and implementation, of various strategic projects and initiatives, including a review of the Education strategy.
To manage discrete elements of relevant projects, including influencing, working, and engaging with a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders.
To provide research support into project viability and sector benchmarking activities as appropriate.
To seek and identify potential opportunities for Education and other forms of collaboration, which are aligned with the university's strategic priorities.
To be an ambassador for MMU, promoting its expertise and capability to engage with external organisations, contributing to the aims of the refreshed Education strategy.
To advise on current national and regional current trends and developments to help inform the University's response to the evolving policy landscape.
