A rare opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Software Developer to work in the Digital Services directorate. As part of Corporate Systems support the role will join the DevOps team of developers responsible for all in-house software solutions.
You will have worked in a technical IT role and/or have gained 2 x AS Levels or 1 x A Level or NVQ level 4 in a relevant subject area or a Level 5 IVQ Advanced Technical Diploma. You’ll be a problem solver by nature with an eagerness to learn and expand your skills in authoring of real-world software solutions. You will develop a broad set of skills covering both application development and application hosting.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
The post is a permanent full-time position and benefits from a generous pension scheme and various other employee benefit schemes.

This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
