The role is split between providing strategic leadership for Unified Communications services within the wider IT Platforms section, supporting systems, and hands on technical development for these services. This includes: Cisco Telephony (until the summer of 2024), Microsoft Teams Telephony, Annual Clearing & Accommodation Call Centre, Microsoft Teams for Staff, and Microsoft Email & Groupware.
Working with the Head of IT Platforms across the University with senior stakeholders, the post holder will: support development of mutually negotiated roadmaps, act as advocate for the change in technology use, and ensure services deliver value for all customers.
